What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Hindrances to God’s promises

Many things are hindering God’s promises upon the lives of  His children. God is not a man that He should lie and whatever He says He will do (Numbers 23:19; Isaiah 55:11)
What are these promises of God?
God made so many promises to man. His thoughts for man are for everything good and not for anything evil Jeremiah 29:11. God’s plan and will are for the betterment of man. He created man to be good and to enjoy every good thing in life. Because before the creation of man, God first of all made a provision for man’s accommodation (Genesis 1 and 2).
Before you think of God’s promises, you should first of all try to know what made God make such promises unto the man He created.
- Man is the image of God: God is present on earth and has His representative physically manifesting for Him on earth. So, you do not need to look for Him on earth because He put man in that position to be like Him. (psalms 82:6; Genesis 1:26a).
With such a level of love from God to man, He made thousands of unchanging promises if anyone wants to be partaker of His promise he/she must live to His principles through accepting His gift of salvation John 1:12-13; Ephesians 1:13-14; Matthew 6:33. When a sinner genuinely accept the gift of salvation, he automatically have access to the promise of:
-Eternal life:  In the Old and New Testaments, God’s unchanging promise for man is eternal life with Him in heaven. John 3:15;10:28;17:3;Romans 6:23;Titus 1:2;1John 2:25
-Freedom: God promises to be Free from all forms of bondage. Galatians 5:1;Romans 8:2;John 8:36; Obadiah 1:17; Exodus 14:14; Jeremiah 1:19.
-Help: He also promises to help at all times. Stop looking for help elsewhere because help is found only in Him. Isaiah 41:10 and 19; Philippians 4:19; Psalms 121:1-2.
-Making a way(way-maker): The promise to make a way for His people. There’s no way a child of God can miss his way when God is the one in charge. Isaiah 43:16-23;John 14:6
-Better future: Philippians 4:13; Psalms 37:4; Deuteronomy 28:11; Psalms 128:2. Prosperity, success and breakthrough are part of His promise.
-Good health: Jeremiah 17:14;33:6; Isaiah 38:16-17. He made a promise to gift us sound health. It is His will that we live in good health on earth for us to fulfill His divine will for ourselves.
-Protection: Deuteronomy 20:10; Psalms 91. Why should you be afraid when you are under God’s protection? His will is to protect us from all evil. He dedicated Himself to it and that is what He will do
God’s promises are limitless and accessible when you are in Him. For in Him, life becomes meaningful because He has all it takes to give your life meaning.
What are the hindrances to these promises in the lives of God’s children?
The evidence of God’s wonders in your life is a prove of His promises manifesting in your life for the world to see. You telling someone that the Lord is good must have first experienced it in your life, and also have proof of it.
“Sister Gloria Anene testified of God’s wonders in life at the hospital. The doctor told her to donate bags of blood for a successful surgery, but instead, she drank the blood of Jesus by faith and entered the theater, doing the operation with only the blood of Jesus. And that became her evidence and testimony whenever she prayed for the sick”.
Nobody is excluded by God from partaking in His promises, but there are a lot of hindrances to these limitless promises in the lives of so many people which we are going to look into.
-Sin: Sin is a hindrance and a stumbling block to God’s promises. Sin is satan’s means of caging and holding souls from encountering, and seeing the true nature of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A sinner is in the dark and first needs repentance before any other thing. A sinner is in danger of death and at the mercy of satan because he puts a hold on the sinner’s life and destiny, and hinders his connection with God. 1 John 3:8-9; Roman 6:14-23; Proverbs 13:34.
God promised to take the children of Israel out of slavery and bondage in the land of Egypt into a land flowing with milk and honey within 11 days in Deuteronomy 1:2, but sin delayed them and it took them 40 years to get to the promised land.
God might have destined that you will accomplish your destiny between your 20s, but you are clocking to your 30s and have not even started because sin set you back when you are to move forward. You see, the little enjoyment that sin offers has a long time of punishment for it.
It is not God’s fault that you are in that position you are now, but it is your fault because you are the one delaying yourself with that sin you accommodate in your life. There is no way you can entertain your downfall and still want to excel.
-Demonic covenant or curse: Demonic covenant or curse reduces a great destiny into nothing. So many people are greatly suffering, living from hand to mouth with no hope, no helper, and no source of survival because this covenant hinders God’s promises in their lives.
       Someone like:
 1. Cain in Genesis 4:3-15 out of envy and jealousy killed his brother Abel. The curse for killing his brother became a hindrance to God’s promises upon his life.
2. Esau in Genesis 25:29-34 indirectly entered into a covenant with his brother Jacob and sold his birthright for just pottage. That singular act hindered God’s promises upon his life. Genesis 27:39-41
3. Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 suffered hindrances to God’s promises because of the circumstances surrounding his birth. Thank God he understood on time and prayed for a change of name.
Also, in this present generation, many are suffering from generational covenants their forefathers or fathers made with the devil. Some under demonic manipulation of witchcraft.
The solution to our complete and total freedom is Jesus. And to manifest in His promises, you need Him now than ever before. Why not join the league of the manifesters of His divine promises by accepting Him in your life as your Lord and Savior?

God bless you!!!

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
