The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV) " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. " Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. Who is Satan, and why is he against God, and why is he so interested in using man as his instrument of accomplishment?
Isaiah 14:12-13
Satan was formerly known to be an agent of service in the Lord’s kingdom because of his dedication and obedience to God’s instructions, and he was made the lead angel. He was the first to be created, handsome, and good-looking one called “Lucifer”. His name is from a Hebrew word, which means “bright or shining one”.
He had a change of name when he began to fight his maker because he wanted to be worshipped by God. Rather, his selfish ambition made him a man of lawlessness. The Satan is an identification name for his evil agenda, which is:
S= Seduction
A= Attach
T= To
A= Amenable
N= Nurture
It describes the true nature of Satan when given a chance to rule over man.
It was impossible, sacrilege and unexceptionable of God, the creator of Satan to lower His lordship under the supremacy, and subjection of Satan which made God discharge him of his duties in heaven and sent him away from His presence, and glory down to the earth with some angels that conspired with him to disobey God.
Satan was on the earth before creation, and he was even present when God beautified the earth. Genesis 1:2-3
Darkness was found on earth because it was sent down on earth when it was so dark that the light rejected its deception. So, that Satan was and is against the light made him darkness, and as the leader of darkness, he wants subjects that will do his bidding, which he succeeds through putting man under his control.
