The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV) " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. " Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence. ...
We know their is God and that he stays in heaven, and that everything was created by him. The question is, how do we know and what evidence do we have to claim he created all things? That is where faith comes in. Because we have not seen him, the quality of our hope is the evidence that he exists and everything was made by him. Hebrews 11:1-3
The foundation of the human race was built on faith. Because we live with the mindset of a better tomorrow with no idea of what tomorrow has to offer, we hoped for a better tomorrow because we are created to live by faith.
So, if faith is the substance, then the substance I think is refers to the quality of the hope, which there must be a great level of quality to what you believe for it to be called faith.
So think about it, if God can only be pleased by faith, according to Hebrews 11:6, which means what he is looking for is the quality of your belief. That is why Matthew 17:20 talks about the grain of mustard seed(very tiny seed) to show he is not after the quantity but the quality.
The quality of a person’s faith pleases God, and it is only when one is pleased(which is to say happy) that he gives his attention to something.
Note: Faith is not determined by the quantity of what is hoped for but the quality of what is hoped for.
Since God created and expects man to live and survive in the earth by faith, then what will become of the same man when he is not living by faith?
God bless you
