What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

How to deal with spiritual wickedness?

Somewhere in Africa, a man in his 50s or 60s on his way home after his daily pursuit slumped and he woke up not to make full use of his body again, which made him at all times lie helplessly on the ground in pain. He urinates and defecates on his body. His family took him to different hospitals, but all tests conducted on him proved that he was medically okay, but was dying slowly and throughout his remaining days on earth, he never recovered from that unknown illness.
Ephesians 6:12 refers to it as wickedness in the high places. It is the kind of wickedness that takes place spiritually and manifests in the physical world. The custodians of wickedness are demons that will go to any length to cause affliction, pain, and disaster to many unguided souls.
This wickedness is going on all around the world today, and its manifestation has caused so many their health, comfort, and lives.  The few people who knew it was a demonic wickedness against them in their pursuit of help walked into their doom.
I heard a story of a Christian brother who diligently served God. But one day, he became sick, and with time, it became worse that there was nothing to do but wait for his death. Friends and well-wishers advised the family to seek help from native doctors since medical doctors could not help him. The day they agreed to consult demons to save his life was the day he lost it.
One of the men who passed through serious wickedness in the bible was Job. Just in a day, he lost his children, wealth, and even his family. He never blamed God because he knew the demons were at work in his life, and instead of him to curse God and die, he chose to make his supplications known to God. (Study the Book of Job)
You might be asking, how do I deal with this spiritual wickedness in my life? There are steps to stand against such wickedness, which are:
  • Always call on our Savior Jesus
Romans 10:13; Acts 4:10-12
There is only one person who has all it takes to save souls from wickedness. Because his name alone has been exalted above all, including wickedness in the book of Philippines 2:9. But the Majority of so-called Christians fail it here because it is not the name of your bishop, pastor, or evangelist but the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth because he is the only one that was destined to save us according to Matthew 1:21
There was wickedness done against blind Bartimaeus that made him blind after his birth, but when he heard that the only person who would save him from wickedness was passing by, he lifted his voice and called the only person who could save him by his name to save him. Acts 10:46-56
What about the wickedness done to that woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34 for twelve years? It was a constant bleeding for years, and I believe she might have done a lot to stop the bleeding but up to no avail, until she had an encounter with the man above all spiritual wickedness and that was the end of her problem.
My dear reader, there is nobody able to save you except him. Why not call him now, and he will answer you? Jeremiah 33:3
  • Put on the whole armor of God
There is this man in the bible who was a commander of an army force. He had fought and won so many battles but was spiritually under demonic wickedness because he was not putting on the armor of God. His rank in the army was not a match for the spiritual battle against him, and the evidence of the wickedness done to him spiritually was his physical leprosy. 2 Kings 5:1
Our physical bravery has no control over spiritual forces. There must be a spiritual attack of wickedness which man-made armor cannot prevent the fierceness of the attack; that is why God made an armor and urged us to put it on for our safety. Ephesians 6:13-17
I pity Christians who use physicality to stand against spiritual wickedness because most of them end this journey of life tragically.
  God’s armor is:
1. The belt of truth: The bible made it clear that we shall know the truth and the truth we know shall make us free. John 8:32  Knowing and accepting the truth of the gospel keeps us strong against all schemes of the wicked.
2: Breastplate of righteousness: Proverbs 14: 34 That is when the heart is void of all sin before God and man because evil attracts evil and likewise righteousness.
3. Feet shod of the gospel: Our feet and path have been guided by the light of God’s word. Psalms 119:105
4. Shield of faith: 1 Timothy 6:12

5. Helmet of salvation: 2 Samuel 22:3,36,47; Psalms 62:6-7; Titus 2:11-12.

6. Sword of the spirit (the word of God): Hebrews 4:12
  • Be vigilant
1 peter 5:8
The forces we are dealing with are wicked spirits, and as such, we must be vigilant at all times.
Is it not obvious that wickedness is executed when men are asleep? If a man is spiritually asleep, he becomes prey in the hands of his enemy.
  • Pray in and out of the season
I have not seen any problem that can not be handled with prayer. Prayer still and will remain the weapon of warfare against every activity of the wicked in our lives. 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1;Philippians 4:6
The reason why Satan and his demons keep defeating you is that you have not come to the full manifestation of the truth. The truth is now being revealed to you today. Will you still choose to be defeated?

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
