What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Why is the tongue so powerful?

The tongue is a small organ of the body, but it is very powerful because the fate of a man, whether to live or die, to fulfill or unfulfill his destiny lies on the tongue. Proverbs 18:21

Also, an agreement, covenant, or oath becomes validated through the declaration of the mouth which what most people call problems, circumstances, or situations they are going through in life is the effect of a spoken word either from them or from someone against them.

What are your confessions about yourself and the people around you? In case you do not know, word travels in the spirit, and that is why it is powerful because:

1. God created heaven and earth and everything therein through His spoken word in Genesis 1 and 2. Immediately, He thought of it and spoke about it, and it came to pass. Secondly, He revealed the importance of His word in Isaiah 55:11 to tell us how His word travels. All He did was just say it, and it took effect immediately.

God’s word travels to honor Him through accomplishing the very purpose why He has sent it. His word is holding this world, and upon it, the foundation of the world was laid, and everything in the world still survives today.

He gave us such a privilege and the proof is in Genesis 2:19-20. Man's tongue became powerful like that of God when he was given the ability to say what the animals could be named.

2. Genesis 3 also reveals how fast a word can travel when the word from a serpent made Adam and Eve doubt and defile God’s instruction. The serpent needed not to have several conversations with Eve to convince her to eat from the fruit, but just a word to Eve, and she battled with her spirit to give in to the serpent's word.

Mind you that the serpent that spoke to Adam and Eve into disobedience is still at work even now. He is directly or indirectly speaking to many people into making wrong decisions in their lives thereby missing their golden opportunity to become what God destined for them through their moment of conversation with the devil changed everything and created that enmity between God and them.

Spiritual tongues speak convincing words to people to lure them into their doom. Why do people commit suicide in the first place? Where are those depressing thoughts coming from? That has made many see themselves to be inferior and do not deserve the opportunity to live. All of these are the strategies to reap many off from fulfilling their destinies.

Can you imagine, that a 24-year-old boy with great dreams and aspirations ended his journey of life in prison for forcing himself on an 80-year-old woman, when he was asked why he did it, he said something convinced him to do it and he ended up doing it.

To you reading this now, are you sure you are not under the control of an evil tongue assigned to ruin your life and destiny? When a voice starts telling you through your mind to do evil rather than good it is the same serpent that spoke to Adam and Eve, the solution is that God instructs you to resist that serpent and he will go away from you. James 4:7

3. Barak hired Balaam to curse the children of Israel because He knew that there was power in the spoken word. His only way to get Israel to its knees since he could not defeat them was to send word of affliction to them. Nehemiah 13:2

God through the Holy Bible told Christians to be as innocent as a dove, and as clever as the serpent in Matthew 10:16, and 2 Corinthians 2:11 that we should not be ignorant of satan's activities against us. Because their tongues can speak destruction, pain, and affliction into our journeys of life if we are not at peace with Him and are at ease with spiritual matters. Amos 6:1

We live in a world where not everyone is happy when things are working out well for you. Some will either speak against it or hire someone like Barak did to put a stop to it, but if you have God then you are more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37

In Acts 23:12, a group of Jews conspired and even took an oath to end Saint Paul's life, but the fact remained that they did not succeed because God protected His own. Their tongues spoke of Paul's death, and it became validated through an oath which means that it was an empty threat but God put their words into nothing like He did to that of Ahithophel in 2 Samuel 17:23

4. A woman in the labor room out of pain spoke a word into her baby's life, and she even named her baby according to that word, and it became a curse to the child that he grew up in pain. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 That Jabez was more honorable than his brothers did not stop him from living in affliction due to his mother's declaration.

There is no way Jabez's mother will give birth and want her child to suffer, because of pain of what she might have gone through just to have her baby made her say some things that turned out to be a curse on her son's life. Some mothers are like that, but under no circumstances should a mother utter a curse word to her child because every mother's tongue can either be a blessing or a curse to her child.

Many young boys and girls are in serious pain and very bad conditions in life as a result of their parents' evilly spoken word against them. They should be on the path of fulfilling their destiny, but those curses are drawing them backward.

5. Out of bitterness and hatred, a group of people willingly accepted for them and their generations to be cursed for an innocent man to be crucified. Matthew 27:25

How do you make use of the power on your tongue? Life can be best lived or suffered by the power of the tongue because many people are destined for great things in life, but the words spoken against them either from their foundation or someone who used witchcraft to hold them down or by what they mistakenly said against themselves are holding them from living up to those destines. There is power in every spoken word, and anytime a person carefully or carelessly utters a word, it immediately takes effect to get done with the intent of the spoken word.

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
