What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Can prayers come true?

This is a question that stirs the hearts of many believers and seekers alike. Prayer is one of the most personal and profound expressions of faith. It's a way of reaching out to God, seeking His presence, wisdom, help, and comfort. But when we ask, "Can prayers come true?" what we're really wondering is: Does God hear me? Will He respond to my needs, desires, or cries for help?

The Bible assures us that God hears the prayers of His people. 1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” This verse gives both assurance and condition—God hears us, but especially when our requests align with His will.

So, yes—prayers can come true. But we must understand what that really means.

1. Prayer Is About Relationship

First and foremost, prayer is not a vending machine where we insert faith and get instant results. Prayer is about building a relationship with God. Just as a child talks to their parent not just to ask for things, but to feel close, to share, and to be guided—so we, too, come to our heavenly Father with everything on our hearts.

In this relationship, God is not distant or indifferent. He is a loving Father who listens. Matthew 7:11 reminds us, “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

2. God’s Will Matters

Sometimes we pray hard for something—healing, a job, a relationship, a breakthrough—and it doesn’t happen the way we hoped. Does that mean prayer failed? Not necessarily.

God sees beyond what we can see. He knows what is truly best for us, even when it’s painful or confusing in the moment. Jesus Himself, in the Garden of Gethsemane, prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42)

Even Jesus, the Son of God, surrendered His requests to the Father’s will. That teaches us that answered prayer isn’t always about getting what we ask, but about trusting the One we ask.

3. Prayers Are Always Heard—But Answers Vary

God responds in different ways: yes, no, or wait. Sometimes He says yes right away, sometimes He withholds something for a greater purpose, and sometimes He asks us to be patient while He works behind the scenes.

A delay is not a denial. There are countless testimonies of people who waited years to see a prayer fulfilled—only to realize God’s timing was perfect.

4. Faith and Perseverance

Prayer requires faith. Not in a magic outcome, but in a faithful God. Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Even when it’s hard. Even when it seems silent.

So, can prayers come true? Absolutely. But not always in the way we expect. Sometimes, the miracle is not the change around us, but the transformation within us. Prayer changes circumstances, but it also changes hearts. It draws us close to God and helps us trust His wisdom more than our own understanding.

If you’ve been praying and waiting, don’t give up. God is listening. He sees you, He loves you, and His timing is always right. Your prayer may already be on its way to being answered—just not in the way you imagined.

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight
