What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

God kind of faith Bible verse

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” – Mark 11:22 (KJV)

When Jesus told His disciples to “have faith in God,” the original Greek can also be rendered as “have the faith of God.” This has sparked powerful revelation in Christian circles. What does it mean to have God's kind of faith? Is it possible for us, as human beings, to operate in a faith similar to that of the Creator? According to Jesus, it is—not only possible but expected for believers to exercise this kind of faith.

What Is the “God Kind of Faith”?

The God kind of faith is not ordinary human belief. It is the supernatural kind of faith that believes, speaks, and sees results. This is the kind of faith God used when He created the universe. In Hebrews 11:3, we read: “Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

God didn’t use tools or materials to create the universe—He used His word. He spoke, and things came into being. In Genesis 1, we see the phrase “And God said…” repeatedly. God exercised faith by believing in the power of His own words.

Jesus Demonstrated This Faith

In Mark 11, Jesus curses a barren fig tree. The next day, Peter notices the tree has withered from the roots. Jesus responds with what seems like a surprising lesson—not about agriculture, but about faith: “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed... and shall not doubt... but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:22–23)

Jesus wasn’t just telling them to admire God’s power. He was showing them how to operate in it. He revealed that speaking in faith—without doubting—would result in supernatural outcomes.

Key Characteristics of the God Kind of Faith

1. It Believes Before It Sees

The God kind of faith is not based on evidence or circumstances. It believes before any natural sign appears.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

2. It Speaks Boldly

Faith is not silent. The God kind of faith declares what it believes. Just as God said, “Let there be light,” we also can speak life, healing, provision, and victory.

“We have the same spirit of faith… we also believe, and therefore speak.” (2 Corinthians 4:13)

3. It Doesn’t Doubt

Doubt neutralizes faith. Jesus taught that to receive, we must believe in our hearts without wavering.

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering…” (James 1:6)

4. It Acts on God’s Word

True faith leads to action. The God kind of faith moves in obedience even before seeing results.

“Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:17)

Can We Have God’s Kind of Faith?

Yes. When we were born again, God gave us a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Through His Spirit and Word, that faith can grow and become strong. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). As we fill our hearts with His Word, meditate on His promises, and declare them with our mouths, we begin to operate in divine faith.

The God kind of faith is not reserved for a spiritual elite. It’s the inheritance of every believer. Jesus taught it, demonstrated it, and commanded us to live by it. When we believe God's Word, speak it with authority, and act on it with confidence, mountains will move, and miracles will manifest. Let us boldly embrace this faith—not faith in our own ability, but faith in a God who never fails.

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers.
