What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Destroying evil altars prayer points

In Scripture, altars were spiritual platforms where covenants were enacted, worship was raised, or sacrifices were offered. Just as Abraham, Elijah, and others built godly altars, the enemy also raises evil altars—demonic platforms where satanic transactions, curses, and covenants are enacted to hinder, delay, or destroy destinies.

An evil altar may be physical or spiritual, ancestral or territorial, personal or generational. These altars speak against progress, marriage, finances, health, and spiritual growth. But in Christ, we have the authority to destroy every evil altar through prayer, the blood of Jesus, and the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Here are 25 powerful prayer points with scriptures to help destroy evil altars and establish godly dominion:

 1. Thank God for the Victory Through Christ

“Having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15

Prayer:

Lord, I thank You for the victory I have through the blood of Jesus over every evil altar raised against me and my household.

2. Renounce Ancestral Covenants

“Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel…” Numbers 23:23

Prayer:

I renounce and break every evil covenant made on any ancestral altar on my behalf in the name of Jesus.

4. Invoke the Blood of Jesus

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb…” Revelation 12:11

Prayer:

I sprinkle the blood of Jesus upon every evil altar speaking against me—be silenced now, in Jesus' name.

5. Destroy Evil Altars of Delay

“The vision is yet for an appointed time...though it tarry, wait for it…” Habakkuk 2:3

Prayer:

Every altar of delay erected against my progress, catch fire and burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.

6. Reject Evil Sacrifices

“They sacrifice unto devils, not to God…” Deuteronomy 32:17

Prayer:

Every sacrifice offered on evil altars to hinder my life—lose your power now by the blood of Jesus!

7. Reverse Evil Pronouncements

“Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” Lamentations 3:37

Prayer:

Every evil utterance made on any altar against me, I reverse and nullify them by the fire of God, in Jesus’ name.

8. Break Generational Patterns

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law…” Galatians 3:13

Prayer:

I break every generational curse empowered by evil altars. I declare my freedom through Christ!

9. Uproot Altars of Witchcraft

“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” Exodus 22:18

Prayer:

Every witchcraft altar assigned to manipulate my destiny—catch fire now! Be destroyed in Jesus' name.
