Prayer points against evil spoken words

          Words carry power—especially when spoken with intent. In the Bible, words were used to bless (Genesis 49) and to curse (Numbers 22–24). Whether it is slander, gossip, malicious decrees, curses, or negative declarations, evil spoken words can hinder destiny, break relationships, and cause emotional or spiritual damage. But the Word of God provides us with powerful weapons to cancel, destroy, and overcome every evil word uttered against us.

          Jesus said:

    “By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:37 (NKJV)

          Therefore, it is vital to pray against any evil word spoken against your life, family, ministry, marriage, or future.

1. Cancel Every Evil Word Released Against You

    “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn...” Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

Prayer:

          Father, I thank You because every tongue that rises against me in judgment shall be condemned. Today, I nullify every evil word spoken against my life—whether in anger, jealousy, or ignorance. I declare that those words shall not prosper. I condemn them by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Break Word Curses and Spells

    “Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.” Proverbs 26:2 (NIV)

Prayer:

          Lord, I reject and renounce every curse spoken over me—deserved or undeserved. Let every negative word that has taken root in my life be uprooted by fire. I break every curse issued through family, authority figures, enemies, or envious people. I declare freedom from all word-based bondage in Jesus’ name.

3. Silence the Mouth of Slanderers and Gossipers

    “You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.” Psalm 31:20 (NKJV)

Prayer:

          Father, hide me from the evil effects of slander, betrayal, and malicious tongues. Let the power behind every whispering and backbiting crumble. Shield me from the strife of tongues, and let Your truth defend me in every situation where lies have been spoken against me.

4. Reverse Every Evil Declaration

    “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.” Job 22:28 (NKJV)

Prayer:

          Every evil declaration made over my life, destiny, or household is reversed in the name of Jesus. I release blessings where curses were spoken. I declare peace where confusion was declared. I declare favor where rejection was proclaimed. Every word meant to destroy me is now turned into a testimony.

5. Reject Evil Labels and Identity

    “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you...” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Prayer:

          I reject every false label that people have placed on me through careless or intentional words. I am not a failure, I am not cursed, I am not useless—I am who God says I am. Let every false name or identity given to me by men be erased by the blood of Jesus.

6. Prayer Against Generational Spoken Curses

    “Our fathers have sinned and are no more, but we bear their iniquities.” Lamentations 5:7 (NKJV)

Prayer:

          Father, I break every generational curse that was activated by evil declarations spoken by ancestors or family members. I cancel inherited negative utterances that still speak over my life today. I come out of every bloodline curse and enter into the covenant of grace in Christ.

7. Prayer to Guard Your Own Mouth

    “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

Prayer:

          Lord, teach me to speak words of life, not death. Deliver me from speaking negatively about myself or others. May my tongue be an instrument of healing, not destruction. I cancel every careless word I have spoken against myself or my destiny.

8. Expose and Destroy Secret Word-Based Plots

    “They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.” Psalm 64:3 (NIV)

Prayer:

          Expose every secret plot of darkness that involves evil spoken words, incantations, or gossip. Let every arrow of words aimed at my life return to sender. I declare divine exposure and confusion upon every gang-up in the realm of speech and manipulation.

9. Prayer for Inner Healing from Evil Words

    “The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 15:4 (NIV)

Prayer:

          Father, heal me from the wounds caused by words that crushed my spirit. Whether it came from loved ones, authority figures, or strangers restore my inner peace. Let Your Word, which is life and spirit, heal every place in my soul that was hurt by evil speaking.

10. Overcome Evil Words with God's Promises

    “Let God be true and every human being a liar.” Romans 3:4 (NIV)

Prayer:

          I choose to believe what God says about me. Every word of man that contradicts the Word of God over my life is declared false and void. I walk in divine promises, not demonic proclamations. I hold onto God’s truth and reject every lie spoken against me.

Final Declaration

          In the name of Jesus, I declare:

● I am free from every evil spoken word.

● No curse, slander, or evil decree shall hold me bound.

● I speak blessings over my life.

● I cancel every satanic utterance against my health, marriage, ministry, finances, and future.

● I receive healing from past words.
