An evil altar is a satanic structure raised to invoke, reinforce, or maintain demonic covenants, sacrifices, and curses. When such altars exist in the father’s house, they influence the bloodline—causing cycles of delay, failure, poverty, barrenness, premature death, and spiritual stagnation.
Just like Gideon was called to destroy the altar of Baal in his father’s compound (Judges 6:25), we too are called to destroy ancestral altars.
Judges 6:25 (KJV) – "Take thy father’s young bullock... and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath."
These altars must be destroyed through repentance, the blood of Jesus, and aggressive prayer.
Key Scriptures for Warfare
1. Isaiah 28:18 – “Your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand.”
2. Colossians 2:14 – “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us... nailing it to His cross.”
3. Hebrews 12:24 – “To Jesus the mediator... and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things...”
4. 1 Kings 13:2 – “O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD...”
5. Revelation 12:11 – “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony...”
PRAYER POINTS TO DESTROY EVIL ALTARS
1. Repent for Ancestral Sins
Prayer:
O Lord, I stand in the gap for my family. I confess and repent of every sin, idolatry, or covenant entered into by my forefathers. Let Your mercy prevail over judgment. Cleanse my bloodline with the blood of Jesus.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us...” 1 John 1:9
2. Renounce and Break All Evil Covenants
Prayer:
I renounce and break every evil covenant, dedication, oath, or sacrifice made on my behalf or my bloodline at any altar. By the power in the name of Jesus, I disconnect myself and my generation from such altars!
“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ...” Galatians 3:14
3. Destroy the Evil Altars by Fire
Prayer:
Every altar of darkness in my father’s house speaking against my life, be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost! O Lord, let Your consuming fire locate and destroy every hidden altar reinforcing evil covenants in my bloodline.
“Our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:29
4. Silence the Voice of the Altars
Prayer:
You voices of accusation, delay, and limitation rising from ancestral altars, be silenced by the blood of Jesus! Let the voice of the blood of Jesus speak mercy, liberty, and blessing over my life.
“The blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24
5. Frustrate the Priests of the Altars
Prayer:
Every evil priest or spiritual agent ministering against my destiny from any altar in my father’s house, be frustrated, exposed, and rendered powerless. Let the fire of God scatter their evil tokens.
“He frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad.” Isaiah 44:25
6. Uproot Evil Patterns
Prayer:
Every recurring evil pattern (poverty, delay, failure, sickness, divorce) in my family line, break now by the power in the blood of Jesus! I reject evil repetitions and claim generational blessings in Christ.
“Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” Matthew 15:13
7. Raise a Superior Altar
Prayer:
I raise the altar of the cross and the blood of Jesus over my life and family. Let the altar of Calvary swallow every ancestral altar. I declare that Jesus is Lord over my bloodline.
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly...” Colossians 2:15
DECLARATIONS OF FREEDOM
Declare these boldly:
● I am delivered from the evil altars of my father's house.
● I am a new creation in Christ—old things are passed away.
● No altar shall speak defeat, delay, or death into my life again.
● The blood of Jesus speaks mercy, breakthrough, and dominion over me.
● My family is free. My destiny is rising. My covenant is with the Lord!
John 8:36 – “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
