          The heart is the center of a person’s inner life—where thoughts, emotions, desires, and decisions are made. In the Bible, the “heart” often represents the core of a person’s being, their true spiritual condition. Proverbs 4:23 says:

    “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

          Let’s look into ten key spiritual heart conditions mentioned in Scripture—what they look like, what they produce, and how God responds to them.

1. The Clean Heart

          A clean heart has been washed by God’s mercy. It’s pure, repentant, and ready to obey the Lord.

    “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10

Signs of a clean heart:

● Seeks forgiveness

● Desires holiness

● Free from hypocrisy

2. The Hardened Heart

8. The Rebellious Heart

Signs of a rebellious heart:

9. The Proud Heart

          This heart enjoys long-lasting fruit, divine guidance, and favor with both God and people.

    “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Matthew 12:34

How to Keep a Healthy Spiritual Heart:
