Many Christians love God, pray, and serve faithfully—but struggle with fear, confusion, and spiritual attacks simply because they do not understand the authority God has given them through Christ. Spiritual authority is not pride, arrogance, or human power. It is the divine right and spiritual position God gives His children to operate on earth with heaven’s backing.
When believers lack understanding of this authority, they live below their divine potential—praying timid prayers, tolerating what they should confront, and accepting battles God already empowered them to win. But when a believer understands spiritual authority, everything changes: confidence rises, fear fades, prayer becomes powerful, and the enemy loses his hold.

“I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy…” Luke 10:19
This means a Christian does not fight for victory; they fight from victory. The authority Jesus won on the cross is the authority the believer stands upon today.
Spiritual Authority Is Rooted in Three Realities:
1. Your position in Christ (Ephesians 2:6)

1. Authority Over Sin
Believers are no longer slaves to sin.
“Sin shall not have dominion over you.” Romans 6:14
Authority means you can say NO and heaven backs you.

Jesus didn’t ask believers to negotiate with the devil—He told them to cast him out.
“In My name, they shall cast out demons.” Mark 16:17
