What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Who is Satan

Who is Satan, and why is he against God, and why is he so interested in using man as his instrument of accomplishment? Isaiah 14:12-13    Satan was formerly known to be an agent of service in the Lord’s kingdom because of his dedication and obedience to God’s instructions, and he was made the lead angel. He was the first to be created, handsome, and good-looking one called “Lucifer”. His name is from a Hebrew word, which means “bright or shining one”.      He had a change of name when he began to fight his maker because he wanted to be worshipped by God. Rather, his selfish ambition made him a man of lawlessness. The Satan is an identification name for his evil agenda, which is: S= Seduction A= Attach T= To A= Amenable N= Nurture       It describes the true nature of Satan when given a chance to rule over man.     It was impossible, sacrilege and unexceptionable of God, the creator of Satan to lower His lordship under the sup...

Your responsibility as a parent

A child is a blessing from God to the parents( psalm 127:3 ). A blessing worth more than earthy treasures, that the child’s birth and growth should be guided against all odds so the blessing would not turn into a curse.    Good parenting is not only providing all the basic needs of a child because being a parent requires a lot of sacrifices to raise a godly child in our perverted world. So, it takes a disciplined parent to raise a disciplined child.      That is why the Bible says in Proverbs 22:6 to “ train up ” and most parents are lacking in the area of training their children. Good training given to a child at its early stage is meant to keep such child on track throughout the days of its life, because what a child could not learn or be brought up with at its early age, do you think the child will learn when he grows older?        “ Leave him alone, he is still a child when he grows up he will learn ”. Some parents are...

The purity of heart

From the answer to a student, he described the heart as a superior that controls a higher rank in the body. At that moment, I realized that the heart has a greater size, power, or superintendent that rules as head of the body or a caretaker of the body.       The heart is an addition of two different words that give the true function, meaning that makes up the whole purpose of God for the creation of man                               He | art He                   By the grace of God, you are healthy full of strength and energy for the foundation of your inward man is from the supernatural being attached to the soul, through which the being produces spiritual nutrients that circulate life around the body to build a palace only for spiritual accommodation to insure security and perfection of the body system.         ...

The next phase afterlife

Have you been to a funeral before? And if you have, what mostly runs through your mind when you see that lifeless body in the casket? That person was once a lively human being until his/her death, because death is predestined for every living thing on earth, including human beings, but what matters most is where will the death be afterlife.       So, death only closes a person’s chapter here on earth to open another chapter, which is called eternity. The earth is where a person is allowed to make all the necessary preparation, discover his purpose in life and put to work his discovered purpose, by so doing he is paving the way for a comfortable place afterlife.        I’m not a judge over anyone, but it really marvels me sometimes how we wish a demise person who made no preparation for eternity a Rest In Peace.  While on earth, he lived contrary to what he was destined for, he was not at peace with his creator even till his de...

What a sweet world

Before writing anything down on this topic, it took me hours to think about what is so sweet about this world when we are living in panic, restlessness, and under an abusive government, then I came to the conclusion that there is nothing sweet about the world.    Most of those things we count to be our source of happiness do not last. Is it family, material things, wealth, or love that fades away? The quest to find satisfaction makes our want insatiable because we live in a world where the world itself and everything in it is perishable.     They used to tell us to live our lives to the fullness probably because life is too short not to enjoy every bit of it. The persuasion to get the best out of life is the cause of many’s misery. Then comes another one that says we should cut our coats according to our size, which is medicine after death when the majority are trying to survive the distress of living every bit of life caused them.     But ...

We have seen his star

Stars are born but not made. No matter the circumstances surrounding one's birth does not define his future. The day of a person’s birth is exactly the day a star is born. Understand that the world is a theater where stars are born to display and be known for what they are born to be.        Nobody is inferior or superior to others. When a person discovers and works towards the area of his calling in life, he celestially becomes relevant and influential because he is no longer hidden but a light that everyone can see through.  Note: Discover your calling and become a shining star.       When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a star boldly appeared in the sky to announce His birth. And through the star, the wise men saw the destiny of the child, which made them leave whatever they were doing, took their costly treasures to go, and worshiped the newborn baby. Matthew 2:2         Also, when the destiny...

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
