Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ” The apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, poses this powerful rhetorical question in Romans 6:1. It follows a beautiful truth explained in Romans 5:20 — “ But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. ” In other words, no matter how great our sin is, God’s grace is always greater.
