What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Not really save at home pt 2

Home lost its pillar  Israel was a home beautified with pure gold, and its beauty attracted their beholders. God did it in a way that nations admired them due to their worth because what God beautified them with made them costly and unaffordable.  Also, Israel was small in population, but nations were afraid of them and could not stand them in battle because of the strength from the pillar of their lives. God was not just at home with them, but He was their pillar and the very source of their strength, victory, wealth, and popularity that their enemies were unable to stop them even Balaam testified to that in  Numbers 23.  But Israel’s enemy did not give up until they destabilized and stopped the pillar of Israel from protecting them in Numbers 25:1-5 . When the pillar left its very place in Israel because of their sin, darkness took over their stronghold and left them unprotected which made their enemies invade their land. Note: Nothing easily dims or darkens a gold...

Do not Manage Marriage

Marriage is the coming together of two mature minds that put aside all their differences and accept to genuinely love, respect, understand, tolerate, and support each other in holy matrimony.     The need for marriage was to take away man’s loneliness by having help meet in his life in Genesis 2:18 until it was instituted by God in verse 24 , that a man will leave his father and mother to be joined with his wife to become one flesh . The words from this scripture that got my attention are: i. Leave       For a man and a woman to be united in marriage, the man has to first work on himself because he is to be the head of his home and when the head becomes faulty, the whole body which is his home automatically becomes faulty.        A man who is financially unstable and does not have a roof over his head, but depends on his parents to run his own home is not yet mature for marriage.       The Bi...

You can still make it right

We live in a world where waywardness and lawlessness are the order of the day. Many vibrant young people with great and bright futures are subjected to lifetime suffering due to the bad choices they made against the very cause of their existence. Was it that life is unfair to allow them to suffer so much for that singular mistake?     Well, the truth remains that life is an opportunity to live a purposeful life, and when the purpose is neglected then it suffers a lifetime fate for a misuse of opportunity. Because life is good, living it outside the very purpose of why it was meant makes the entire journey of life miserable.    As they used to say, one does not know what he has until he loses it. There was a young man from a rich and well-respected family. His father worked so hard to provide for him, and his younger brother to the extent of employing servants to work and assist them.    So, one day he walked up to his father and tol...

Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
