      Most of the terrible things we see happening in our homes today, including many so-called Christian homes, have raised questions about the sacredness of marriage. Over familiarity, infidelity, pride, and insecurity have caused disrespect in marriages that marriages do not last long again because these present generational couples are captains of their own which results in the disrespect, and disagreement that break so many homes today.     There is a high rate of divorce, and domestic violence that mostly leads to murder cases all over the world, and it concerns me because I do not think we have a future when our homes have lost their sacredness.     Some things are to be accorded with respect because of their sacredness and marriage is one of them because according to Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable in all" and for something to be honorable in all means it is respected in all.   The fact that God is not a man(Numbers 23:19) means that whatever He promises, He will do because He is faithful even to His word.  Jeremiah 31:1    The Holy Spirit is concerned about our family. If married, He is concerned about your husband, wife, and children, and if not married, He is concerned about your family.    The spirit of God is so very interested in our homes, and His will is to see our homes manifesting in His glory, and that will not be possible if He is not invited to take all the preeminence in our homes.     Many are under serious operation in the darkness today because God is not invited to take over the affairs of their home.  2 Corinthians 2:11    To be a Christian is to be exposed to the truth, and to know the truth is to know knowledge and the knowledge gotten from the truth prevents ignorance because the truth makes nothing hidden. John 8:32  But even at the revelation of the truth, the number of the perishing souls is rapidly increasing not because the truth is no longer capable of setting them free, but because they are ignorant of the truth.    To be ignorant means that you are not aware of something or lack knowledge of something. Also, from my little findings, there is a consequence for an ignorant person because ignorance is not an excuse to escape the punishment of wrongdoing.   In Africa, a child's wayward lifestyle is mostly seen or regarded as a parent's inability to play its role well in the child’s upbringing.
