What are the 7 powers of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a mystical presence but the very breath, wisdom, and power of God working in and through believers. Isaiah 11:2 offers one of the clearest biblical outlines of the Holy Spirit's attributes, describing seven distinct manifestations—often called the seven powers or spirits of the Holy Spirit. These powers were fully embodied in Jesus Christ and are given to believers to live godly and victorious lives. Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)     " And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. "           Let’s look at each power in detail: 1. The Spirit of the Lord           This is the foundational presence of the Holy Spirit—the sovereign power of God that rests upon a person for divine assignment. It represents God’s anointing, approval, and presence.   ...

Why is midnight so important?

We are in the evil days when evil is seriously taking the upper hand over good, and there are also many agents working tirelessly for the reign of evil all over the world to populate the dark kingdom through their various demonic activities going on day and midnight time.    The fact that satan knows that he had but a little time according to Revelation 12:12 makes it clear why he is not backing down from hunting souls and holding them under his perpetual bondage. Many people are suffering or going through a lot of serious problems and challenges in life today because they are under his manipulation, and that is why prayer becomes necessary to escape his evil agenda.    That brings me to the topic of this teaching of why midnight prayer is so important. The truth is prayer made at any time is very important but why midnight prayer is centered on because it is when satan and his agents carry out their evil activities plotted against any unguided souls. To...

suicide youth

It was first recorded in the bible that the first human being to commit suicide was Judas Iscariot. He saw suicide as an option to escape his guilt for seeing his master condemned to death because of his betrayal. Matthew 27:3-10 He made himself available for Satan's use through the kind of life he chose to live. After all, the prophecy about Christ's betrayal was not centered on him because the prophecy was that someone would betray Christ, but his choice of lifestyle made him that person.     Do you know Judas made decisions that made him take his life because the devil entered him, the bible made it clear in Luke 22:3 that satan entered him and made him which means his actions against God were because of what entered him. The devil brings thoughts, making many children, adolescents, and young adults see reasons why they should quit living. He is capable of doing that because he knows how to go about it the very moment he entered them like he entered Judas....

How do you build respect in a marriage?

Most of the terrible things we see happening in our homes today, including many so-called Christian homes, have raised questions about the sacredness of marriage. Over familiarity, infidelity, pride, and insecurity have caused disrespect in marriages that marriages do not last long again because these present generational couples are captains of their own which results in the disrespect, and disagreement that break so many homes today.     There is a high rate of divorce, and domestic violence that mostly leads to murder cases all over the world, and it concerns me because I do not think we have a future when our homes have lost their sacredness.     Some things are to be accorded with respect because of their sacredness and marriage is one of them because according to Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable in all" and for something to be honorable in all means it is respected in all. So, it is a union that demands all-around respect to k...

How do we hold onto God's promises?

The fact that God is not a man(Numbers 23:19) means that whatever He promises, He will do because He is faithful even to His word. Isaiah 55:11    I have seen so many true believers who are going through hard times enough to make them doubt the sovereignty of God and His promises but instead, they still hold onto God's promises with the belief that no matter how hard it is for them He is still faithful and true to His words.     It takes faith to keep holding on to something even when it seems like it is not helping at the moment, but knowing that He who promises is faithful keeps the faith stronger till the set time of fulfilling His promises.     There are a lot of God’s promises and also a lot of hindrances to the same promises. Click on the link below for more details:  https://www.seedwordchristian.com/2023/07/hindrances-to-gods-promises.html?m=1      So many things can hinder a person from accessing or living ...

What is the role of the Holy Spirit in the family?

Jeremiah 31:1    The Holy Spirit is concerned about our family. If married, He is concerned about your husband, wife, and children, and if not married, He is concerned about your family.    The spirit of God is so very interested in our homes, and His will is to see our homes manifesting in His glory, and that will not be possible if He is not invited to take all the preeminence in our homes.     Many are under serious operation in the darkness today because God is not invited to take over the affairs of their home. Because if He is present in a family, no program or works of the darkness will ever come to pass.     Go and check, any family that the Holy Spirit is leading has the same agenda at heart because they are under one government and the Holy Spirit is the one overseeing it.    The works of the Holy Spirit in our families  ● The work of revelation. It is not the will of God that our families will be in the da...

Do not be ignorant of the devices verse?

2 Corinthians 2:11    To be a Christian is to be exposed to the truth, and to know the truth is to know knowledge and the knowledge gotten from the truth prevents ignorance because the truth makes nothing hidden. John 8:32  But even at the revelation of the truth, the number of the perishing souls is rapidly increasing not because the truth is no longer capable of setting them free, but because they are ignorant of the truth.    To be ignorant means that you are not aware of something or lack knowledge of something. Also, from my little findings, there is a consequence for an ignorant person because ignorance is not an excuse to escape the punishment of wrongdoing. After all, Romans 2:1 says " Thou art inexcusable ".      Many Christians today are under perpetual bondage, passing through serious demonic hindrances and some have their destinies destroyed never to manifest because ignorance made them unaware of their rights and privileges...

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness meaning

God is different from every other god because what He stands for makes Him unique and beautiful. He is known for one thing and that alone is where His beauty lies and when that one thing is absent then it is not Him, and that thing is holiness for He exists and actively functions through holiness; any services that should be rendered to Him must be done in holiness because it is in His nature to be holy.    Knowing who God is, what kind of worship He accepts, and what state we should be in to offer such kind of worship to Him should be our major concern in this teaching.    There is definitely what makes something beautiful or ugly. In the case of God, holiness makes Him beautiful, and whatever worship or thanksgiving to be offered unto Him must go through holiness. Psalms 29:2;96:9  To worship God is to testify how beautifully holy He is and do things beyond human comprehension.   There are so many activities going on in heaven, but the most importa...

Midnight prayer points for mercy

Midnight prayers are spiritually significant because they engage the power of God during the night when spiritual forces operate most actively (Psalm 119:62, Acts 16:25-26). Benefits of praying at 12 midnight

We all already know that there are evil activities that take place at midnight, and our safety lies in the power of our prayers. Since the kingdom of darkness operates at midnight, it is our duty as Christians to also stay awake to wage war against their schemes in our lives, destinies, and everything that concerns us.    The enemy can operate at any time; that is why the word of God urged us to stay vigilant at all times because our enemy, the devil, is never tired of trying to harm us. 1 peter 5:8   We will be discussing the benefits of midnight prayer. Prayer should be part of our daily lifestyle because, in the Bible, we are instructed to pray without season according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17    So, the reason for the midnight prayer is that it is the time evil is at work, and to pray at that time is to avert those evil activities from having any effect on our lives.    Acts 16:22-40 revealed the benefit of midnight prayer when Paul and Silas...
